Burp Bounty Server is a standalone web vulnerability scanner you can run on your computer, servers, or VPS instances. Automate testing through its REST API, connect your AI agents through MCP, or use it as a remote scanning engine for Burp Bounty Pro.

Built for repeatable testing at scale

Connect your AI agents. Let an MCP-compatible agent discover available profiles, launch targeted scans, monitor progress, and retrieve findings. The scanner handles the HTTP request loops, so your agent can focus on choosing tests and reviewing results.
Scale across your own servers. Deploy as many instances as you need. Connect each instance to your agent or register it in Burp Bounty Pro to distribute scanning work across your infrastructure.
Start with 250+ included profiles. Run active and passive checks with the shared Burp Bounty profile format, including multi-step tests and time-based detection. Create and edit custom profiles visually with Burp Bounty Pro, available separately or as part of the Pro bundle.
Test exactly what matters. Select profiles by name or tag and target specific parameters instead of testing every insertion point.
Stay in control. Set request rate and concurrency, pause and resume scans, or cancel them when needed. Configure allowed targets for automatic approval of agent-initiated scans.
Retrieve findings when you need them. Agents can query retained results and request evidence for individual findings, including after reconnecting. Configurable retention and storage limits keep disk usage under control.
Automate beyond the chat. Use the REST API from your scripts and testing workflows. Run Server independently on Linux, macOS, or Windows without requiring Burp Suite.

Already using Burp Bounty Pro? Server is included with your Pro license. Choose Server on its own for API and AI-agent workflows, or choose Pro for the Burp Suite extension, visual profile editor, Smart Scan rules, and Server together.

Self-hosted software. You provide the infrastructure and, for MCP workflows, a compatible AI client and any required model access.
